Is this hoodie good for spring riding?

Im looking at the burton bonded hoodie. Looks like the description says its somewhat waterproof. Anyone have any better suggestions? im in colorado and arapahoe basin is open till june 7. and opened for an additional three days on june 12-14. Its gonna be hoooot. Last time I wore my winter coat and sweat like a pig.
