Why do you like "board feel" with your bindings?

I'm really curious on this. I hear many talk about how they love the board feel with certain bindings (ie contact pros and similar). What does that do for you? I suppose that's a subjective answer however I'm just wondering. I'm coming from super stiff bindings that offer little feel through the board?
