GNU Lady's Choice (EC2 BTX) vs Roxy Torah Bright (XC2 BTX) / 149cm vs 152cm

d
I am looking for a board that is suitable for larger kickers, fast enough to keep up with some of my faster riding friends on groomed pistes, and suitable for half pipe in this order of priority.

I am 164cm and weigh under 150lbs at my heaviest when fully equipped (clothes, boots, protection gear and things I carry on me) and have stupidly small feet (US 6 Men), which means that I am always looking for as narrow of a board as I can, typically ladies boards.

I am always open for more suggestions, but right now I am in-between two boards manufactured by Mervin: GNU Lady's Choice and Roxy Torah Bright. I haven't seen any review of the Roxy Torah Bright other than one lady who commented that she found it scared for her life kind of fast, but found happiness with GNU's Lady's Choice. The Lady's Choice seem to be highly acclaimed everywhere.

Here are some of the differences on paper:

1. The Torah Bright has a fixed waist width of 23.9cm (same as my current 146cm board) from for all size, assuming there is no misprint in the spec. In contrast, the Lady's Choice starts at 24cm and go up to 24.4cm at 151.5cm. Well, it is only 0.5cm but narrower is probably better for me.

2. The Torah Bright is XC2 while the Lady's Choice is EC2. I do not know how either ride, but on paper the XC2 is more aggressive and pack more camber and I am wondering if it might not make it a better board for jumps / pipes.

3. The Torah Bright is a True Twin while the Lady's Choice is an Asymmetric Twin. I have no idea how the asymmetric twin ride, but it does sound good. I'll give this round to the Lady's Choice.

4. The Torah Bright has a flex rating of 6 while the Lady's Choice has a flex rating of 5 for the size that I am looking at. Not a big difference.

5. The Torah Bright at 149cm has the same effective edge (1140cm) as the Lady's Choice at 151.5cm according to evo.com

Based on the paper spec, I am leaning towards the Torah Bright. I worry that I might have difficulty handling it at first, but I am planning an 80-100 day of riding next season, so I am hoping that I will gain enough skill to ride it. But I am happy to hear more opinions.

If I do go for the Torah Bright, should I go for the 149cm or the 152cm. I am not planning to go into powder with it, but it has to be long enough to be stable on any large (but non-death defying) kickers, and but not so much that it is not going to make tricks more difficult to pull.

The weight rating is 90lbs to 170lbs for the 149cm and 95lbs to 180lbs for the 152cm. Not a whole lot of difference. I was leaning towards the 152cm board at first, but I am also going to get the 152cm Jone's Women's Flagship and I am not sure if it makes sense for my jump/pipe board to be the same length as my freeride board..

Thanks for reading :)
