Boot heaters - do they work?

I've very weak blood circulation in my feet (and hands). Can circumvent dead feet in mellow days with toe warmers (the adhesive patches from Grabber), but on cold days or if feet are covered with pow alla time, forefeet get cold and then completely numb after short time no matter what I do, even with wide open boots. I can ignore the pain, but riding feeling is hempered with complete dead feeling of forefeet :gaah:
Tried also ThermoSoles but their batteries don't last long enough; also the soles are too thick: leave no room to move toes in my boots.
Heard about heating membranes which are used in ski boots. But they have external batteries... not sure if one can clip them to snowboard boots...? Anyone using such a system? Which one? Do the last a day? Fit to snowboardboots?
