Too much heel overhang vs toe overhang?

I need some assistance in determining whether or not I should return these bindings, need a wider board, or a different boot. The bindings are 2014 Now IPO size large (10-13) and my boot is a size 10 K2 Maysis. I have the mounting rings positioned so that the bindings are shifted as far as they can go toward the toe side of my board yet my boot still seems to sit way off the heel edge and just barely off the toe edge. Is this an issue as far as riding performance goes? Thank you for your input in advance.
