Citizen upgrades

Last summer I ended up outfitting my daughter. I took the cheap way out and grabbed some citizen. Made sense at the time as I had no idea how much she'd actually like snowboarding.
Anyway, turns out she likes it, but hates the bindings. Mostly the ratchets as they seem to slip more than grab when she straps in.
So I'm looking for some other options. Nothing that breaks the bank, under $120 with the current sales going on. She's a beginner and only puts in around 10 times a year, so we don't need overkill. Ideally I'd love to find some used Stilletos, but looking for other options as I haven't much of a clue other than middle line burtons, and even less on the womens side.
I see things like Union Rosa but have no idea if they would be any better than what she has.
