2016 Board Choices

Hi guys,
I have decided that I am going to take the plunge and buy my own board and bindings this year as I am sick of having a shi**y ride from trying to get rental equipment that is reasonable quality and suited to my needs.
In summary I am mainly into charging/fast carving on the groomers with a bit of offpiste/pow so I want a camber board with good edge hold and stability at speed.
I was thinking last year that the Burton Custom X would be the one to go for but now the Tough Cat has appeared I am undecided.
I have came across this site http://ift.tt/1DlKeB1
which suggests that Custom X isn't the best board for high speed carving.
What do you guys think? Should I be looking into other brands of board as well?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Lewis
