Been doing research, but having sizing question...

d
What up, all...

I've been doing research about which size board to buy (my first) and I'm curious how much a difference 2-3cm really makes. Will I really be affected by a board 2-3 cm too big or too small?

--I'm a beginner/intermediate (one season under my belt, but, not to be cocky, I picked it up pretty fast and I feel comfy on most beginner, inter, adv runs...the expert still intimidate me).
--I'm 6'1, 205 lbs, size 13 boots.
--I'm looking for an all-mountain board (mostly free-riding, but I'd like to have a board I can take to the park once I get more comfy there).

From what I've seen the perfect size for me is around 161-162 wide. But I want to buy the GNU Carbon Credit and I've only seen 165 wide and 159 wide (and smaller) in stock.

I get the impression that the 159 wide would be a good freestyle board for me, but it'd be limited doing free-riding and powder, whereas the 165 wide would be gravy in the pow, but it'd be cumbersome elsewhere.

So...would a 159 wide or 165 wide be noticeable to me in terms of my enjoyment? Should I just find a 161-162 wide of a different board?

Thanks bunches!
