First board - Salomon Craft vs Rossignol Circuit?

Hi! I did a search, but I hoped someone with experience with these boards could help out.
I'm brand new to snowboarding; took my first lesson last week and loved it.
I'd like my own board and bindings and I've spent time at two local shops asking questions, and just purchased a pair of Salomon Launch boots that fit fantastic.
One shop specifically recommended the Craft to me, but I'm concerned it may be a bit too much board for me at this point with so little experience? A lot of reviews I've read say it takes finesse and experience to really coax good performance out of this board, which I do not have at this point. And I don't want a board that is too difficult to ride that will demoralize me right from the get-go. I'm willing to put in my dues, but I'd also like to not spend all my time down on the ground!
On the other hand, one shop suggested the Rossignol Circuit, which seems to be a good beginner board. My only concern is I plan on hitting the slopes every chance I get this season (which should be 2-3x week) in hopes I'll progress a lot, so I don't want to outgrow my first board too quickly either.
I'll mostly just be riding the mountain, but I'd like to learn a few tricks, and who knows...there are a couple of terrain parks around, but that's never been a huge draw to me.
I'm pretty tall and skinny at the moment, but am trying to gain weight. 6'3" and 155 pounds. The shop told me I could do as small as a 156 but when I look at the charts, I seem to fit more around a 158-161ish, especially if I gain weight?
Also, do you think I might need a wide board? I generally wear a size 12 tennis shoe, but was able to fit quite nicely into a size 11 Salomon Launch boot that I got heat molded. It's snug at the moment, but when I get my knees bent, my toes come back from the front and it feels like a really great fit.
Thanks for your help! I'm going back out this Friday and Saturday. Can't wait.
Edit: I know these boards have different profiles, but that's one of the variables I haven't nailed down quite yet. I understand the Circuit's rocker shape helps beginners, but will I tire of it too quickly?
Also, Per the FAQ, here's my info:
Weight: 155 pounds (but trying to put on some weight)
Boot size: Salomon Launch 11
Riding style: Brand new, so I'm sticking to greens but hope to progress quickly. Maybe allmountain freestyle?
Age (are you still growing and puttin on weight?): 26 so not "growing" per se, but again, trying to add weight
budget (if you have one): <$400 board only
Your location of riding: Colorado
