thirtytwo lights 14 vs 15

Hi peeps, I'm pretty New to snow boarding (I've done a couple of weeks over several years) and want some new boots. I went to a local shop and tried on a few pairs and the thirty two lights seemed to fit me like a glove, although they were a little soft on the flex. I'm not going to go really fast, or do any crazy tricks anytime soon, will these boots be good? Also does anyone know the difference between the 2014 and 2015 version? I can get 2014 version for about half the price.
