Hi !
I am looking to buy a new board and would like your input on which board I should choose. Unfortunatly, I can't test them (no demo days in my area) before I buy and I've ask at a couples of snowboarding shop which board would be best for me and their answer are all different...
A little about me : I'm an experienced rider. I used to ride a Burton freedom 153 cm previously. I now ride a Burton Malolo 149. I will keep the malolo to ride on powder/groomers when the snow conditions are good but would like another board for day-to-day, ride groomers and glades, learn to ride switch do some tricks, ollie, be more playful while riding the groomers and perhaps go occasionnaly in the park. I also tend to go fast while riding and like to ollie and carve, do small, medium or wider turns depending on the groomers. I'm guessing an all mountain freestyle board that is twin or almost twin would be the way to go, with a medium flex... I also want a board that will give me a feeling a little bit different then my malolo.
I ride in Quebec and northeastern USA, thus the board need to be able to handle from hard, sometime icy snow to medium, soft snow conditions.
Here are a few boards that I've been told would be good choices and I would love to have your input and if you rode them before, thanks for letting me know how it went. I'm not looking at the graphic of the board, this is not important for me.
I'm 5'4, 115 lbs, size 8 burton supreme boots, size large burton escapade binding (not EST).
Capita bird of feather 146 or 148 (probably the 148 since I like to ride fast...)
Ride OMG 147
Rossignol Justice 145 or 149
Rossignol diva
Burton talent scout 149
Thanks for your input!
