Smugglers Notch, VT Jan 23-28

Had a great time at Smuggs this past week. Snowed overnight a few times. Trails were groomed nicely. Not experienced enough to go up the Madonna lifts. Far outside of my ability level seeing as how it was my first snowboarding experience. I took a two hour lesson on Saturday and ventured up the mountain Sun-Tues. I picked it up quickly since I am a wakeboarder. Biggest issue for me was holding the edge without overdoing it. Learned the difference between the forgiveness of water vs. snow quickly. LOL It was an awesome time up there. Its east coast mountains so I can't compare it to Colorado etc....but it was great for me. Great beer up there too!
