My daughter wants to snowboard before the end of this season. She tried once and it didn’t go well, but I believe she’s ready to make the commitment to learn.
I’ve reviewed the online board length calculators and the consensus, for my daughter’s height, weight & boot size; she should be riding a 147-149cm board.
Am I correct in thinking that a slightly shorter board would be better for a novice? If so, how much shorter will provide a benefit without being too short?
