Quick Pick!

d
Ladies and Gents.

I made the grave mistake of reading reviews and am now a bumbling wreck. Help me out.

I have a 156 2013 Park Pickle. Moved from a 5 year old camber 162 Burton Custom. Reason being is that I wanted something fun, less catchy and ultimately it was half-price at the end of the season. Now I take that all over the mountain. Generally I am groomers and end of day moguls. But with that board I'm loving the moguls. Groomers wise I am not catching and edge at all and flying about but. I am popping about at higher speeds and its not that great when I am with my mates who ski. I'm not a slow boarder and would say easy intermediate easy for the groomers, there is nothing I won't smash down.

Riding switch, big kickers etc = I'm crap. Never bothered learning, but I am also in my 30's.

In short I want something nice and catch free, but bit more stable. I like the length of the 156 as its so playful (its a rocker/PBTX) though so maybe a hybrid will feel bigger?? My idea was simply "get a stiffer board and you will go faster".

My head is now mashed with these choices though (in no order!):

Gnu Riders Choice 157.5

Rome Agent Rocker 156 or 159 - dunno!

Libtech TRS - 156 or 159 (how much difference does a non-sintered base make?)

Rossi One Magtek (not sure about the R/C/R - never tried it...)

Gnu Danny Kass - Don't know why but told its the sintered version of the TRS? If so then maybe perfect, its all that is putting me off a 157 TRS.

T.Rice Pro 156 - Maybe too slow edge to edge. Apparently a lot of work...

Not averse to other brands at all. Don't care at all about graphics. Will whack on some Rome 390's as I have them already (damn heavy thought!)

Will not be massively changing my riding to be honest. So no need for that. Er.... anything else?? Oh yeah, I ride in Czech Republic and head to Austria for about 10 days a year. Ice is generally found locally and when I am in Austria will love a bit of powder. I will generally be found doing some off piste and through the trees as long as the conditions are there, but no big off-piste untracked lines having been dropped by a helicopter or anything like that (I wish...). Blacks to Greens I do it all.

Anyone can just tell me what to get so I don't need to make a decision at all?? Will be eternally grateful!

185lbs, size 10.5 US.
