Flow Purchase Advice

I am a relatively new rider. I bought my board 2 years ago, and have been out about five 3-day weekends. I am 49, and don't ever see myself doing much park riding, but I rarely have a wipe-out, and have been pushing myself as far as speed and run difficulty.
99% of my riding is in northern Michigan, so the runs aren't real long.
I ride a Rome Reverb Rocker 54. Current bindings are Burton Customs, and boots are Soloman Faction Boa. I am about 175 lbs.
I am interested in some Flow bindings, as my old body doesnt like to sit on the snow, and strapping on the go is a little awkward. I narrowed it down to the Fuse or the NX2.
Would the NX2 be too stiff for me? I think I would like the hybrid straps. HAve they really corrected their issues for the 2015 model? If I save a few bucks and go with an older model, will I really wish i had the NASTY straps?
Thanks!
