NS Infinity / Nike Vapen Boots / Binding Recommendation?

Hi everyone,
I just started snowboarding last week. I think I'll be going pretty often this season, so I decided to get some gear! I'm still very much learning the basics. Not too sure about my riding style, but I think I'd be on groomers all day (when I get better).
I already bought the NS Infinity (which is on the way) and Nike Vapen boots (used just yesterday). I'm having trouble figuring out what kind of bindings I should be getting. From what I'm reading, bindings and boots should have similar flex... so would I need soft bindings?
I was thinking about getting the Rome Struts, but it seems like they're on the stiffer side. I'm also mainly considering them because they're on sale right now. I'd probably have to wait until the end of the season to get anything else. :x But, if they're truly incompatible, then it is what it is.
