Union Flite Question

I can get a great deal on 2015 Capita DOA and Union Flites but I'm concerned they may be too soft for the DOA. I know binding/board flex combos are somewhat of a riders' preference but from my understanding it is possible for a binding to be too soft for a boards' flex.
