Burton concords boots (dual boa)

Theres almost no user feedback about these boots online so here goes:
I got these boots after my k2 raiders tore and i figure i needed a more high end boot at this point. I have 10 days of riding on the concords so far.
Theyre true dual boas that control the tightness of the top and bottom cables independently, but the knob that controls the bottom is pretty hard to tighten and doesnt allow you to go very tight, but that wasnt a huge deal to me. I know some people really like to crank down/tighten the bottom part and these wont really do that. Other than that, the top boa works well at giving you your desired tightness, and there doesnt seem to be a pressure point issue.
The first 3 days in these boots were not comfortable. Burton advertises some tech that makes a boot comfortable without having to be broken in, but that wasnt the case at all here. My left boot felt like it had a metal bar on top of the instep that was digging into my foot, and my toes felt squeezed. BUT, after the first few days, they DID break in and felt considerably better.
The fit does feel slightly on the smaller end. I measure size 9 exactly, and my raiders were size 9 and fit perfectly. Before they were broken in, they felt about a half size too small, but now they only feel about a quarter size too small. So its not that bad once you break em in. Im guessing after a few more days theyre gunna feel perfect.
The boots are advertised as medium flex but id say after 10 days of riding they seem slightly stiffer.
The liner is comfortable enough. Theyre fairly padded and warm.
There IS some heel lift, but i had the store i bought them at install that thing that makes the boot grab the back of you ankle to prevent heel lift. That easily solved the heel lift issue.
I only have 10 days riding with these but they pretty much look the way they did out of the box so im assuming theyre well put together.
Overall, once you have 3 to 5 days of breaking them in, theyre pretty solid and fairly comfortable boots. If you prefer boots on the snug side (like me) then i suggest you get them in the exact size you measure for. For $300 i feel like i got my moneys worth. I see myself confidently riding in these for at least 2 to 3 more seasons.
