These boots are 2014 boots purchased at the end of the season. They are in new condition and will be shipped in their original box. They have never been worn outside - only strapped into bindings indoors to determine foot fitment.
Stiffness is an 8/10 on Salomon's scale. The lacing tightness can be controlled independently for both the upper and lower zones of the shell. The liner lacing also utilizes a latching mechanism that is much easier to set and maintain the tightness with than the slider type mechanism used on other boots such as Burton. The heel support they offer feels great.
