What if I been using the wrong leg?

Hey guys



I had just starting my snowboarding about 2-3 weeks ago, had about 8-10 days practice, my instructor had told me if I kick a football with right leg then I should be a regular, so I been practicing with regular on my S link so far, and starting making progress on the heels turn, now just need to get fix with my toes turn, but other day I had a try with goofy, and found out seem more easier making the turns that way....now I came home and asked my bf to push me on the back 4 times in a row, and 4/3 times I been using my right leg or I slide on the wood floor with socks, also right leg come first, so now I'm really confused, what if I'm goofy but been doing regular all along, should I go back and switch with goofy maybe get a easier life or just keep going with regular since already been practicing for awhile and making progress ? I don't know is that really matter or would make a big different for a beginner ? any advice would be appreciate :) Thanks
