Summer trip - South America?

Ok. So Tahoe has sucked this season (worse even than last :-(.). I only spent about 10 days on the mountain this year. Not enough. I'm thinking about a trip to the southern hemisphere for some powder this summer (August?). Never been. Haven't done much research but most packages seem to specify a certain level of rider ability. I am an intermediate rider. Most of my friends are either noobs or are unable to take off during this time, so i have no one to go with me that is at the same level. Need other experienced riders to join me.



Anyone in the SF bay area would be great as we could meet up and plan. Also, I'm planning to drive up to Tahoe maybe one more time if there is any snow at all in the next few weeks.
