Rider skill level advancements.

d
Hello fellow boarders,

Just looking for some input on how people ride when they advance skill levels.

I'm in my fourth year riding now, and have managed to master my switch riding. I now have goals of hitting my first 3 this season and getting more comfortable popping hard off anything and everything possible.

The problem is... I've surpassed all of my friends whom I've boarded with the past 3 seasons. Significantly enough where I actually get bothered to hang out with them on the slopes :( my boarding IQ feels like it's gone to the next level and nobody can keep up or provide me the input I need.

We are vertically challenged here on the east coast, so I need to run laps none stop in order to get my progression fix. People complain or feel bad that they can't keep going, so I'm forced to ride alone, which at times, makes me feel like an ass for being the guy that drags people out to leave them alone.

Is this the part where I need to start hanging out in the terrain Park? I have no particular interest in jibbing, more so, being able to hit natural features and capitalize on what can be done on it. The man made jumps don't really appeal to me.

I'm in my late 20's... Anyone else have a similar predicament? Solutions?
