Jones snowboards weak base?

Has anyone else experienced a weak base with there Jones snowboard? I recently got a brand new Jones Mountain twin thinking it would be my go to board for years to come, but it is already torn to shit with numerous core shots after only 12 days on the slopes. I rode a Never Summer for 4 years at the same resorts and had not a single core shot on it.
