Lake Louise vs Big Sky

I'm planning my first trip out west and I'm debating between Big Sky in Montana and Lake Louise near Calgary.
I've got a lot of experience with Calgary and have been to Banff a few times in the summer but don't have any experience with the mountains there in the winter.
Big Sky has my attention because my season pass at home offers me 50% off lift tickets here. It's a place completely foreign to me too, so that's got my interest.
My initial thoughts are that the nightlife in Banff will destroy the nightlife options near Big Sky (which I'm guessing are nil) but I bet Big Sky will have short lift lines and fewer crowds. I can roll either way with nightlife, so this part isn't a deal breaker or maker.
Has anyone been to both that can offer their thoughts?
Background: Michigan rider and can ride anything at our typical resorts; relatively short steep groomers (1/4 mile steeps), mild-to-moderate glades, mellow "cliff" drops (5-6 ft) etc. I'm not interested in the gnarly chutes or craziness that I have no business riding at either place out west.
