Toe overhang

So, I've recently noticed that I have quite a bit of toe overhang, about two inches. I'm riding the K2 Eco Pop which has a waist width of 238 and K2 Haven boots, size nine.. which by the sizing guide I had found, seemed to be a good fit but visually the toe seems way out there. It has a really narrow m
I've tried leaning it on it's toe side at home to see if the boot is actually getting in the way and it doesn't seem to? The boards nose and tail make good contact but the middle never gets a chance to touch ground, I thought because of how narrow it was.. but maybe it's because of the overhang? I can get to a pretty steep angle before the boot touches the ground but I'm still skeptical and afraid it's hindering my progress.
I'm not quite ready to mess around with the stance (which I heard can help) as I don't really know what I'm doing/how far to go etc
Any advice?
