Where can I find the best bowls to Snowboard?

Question: What resorts have the biggest best bowls to ride?
I hate to say it, but I am becoming older and finding I like the wide open bowls much better than the more traditional confined runs. The good part about being older is I have more disposable cash to travel to resorts. I am even thinking about biting the bullet and making my way out to Japan before I get to old.
Whistler - I live in Seattle and I would say Whistler is by far the best I have ever ridden. I like the fact that many of the bowls have drop ins that are short and I can manage before cruising the rest of the way. It even has the Saddle that really is not a bowl, but is a very wide run that can be fun.
Vail - About to make a trip out there this coming weekend. The back bowls look amazing, but a little worried if they will be steep enough. I actually like steep I just need enough room to make turns since I can't do it as quickly as I use to.
Anyone have other suggestions? Anyone familiar with the California resorts?
