Question on sizing for Never Summer Proto HD

d
So I am 6"2 and weigh 190lb.

I currently ride a 2011 158 evo (before they started doing blunted tips). I use it in Utah for 60% park and 40% all-mountain park riding (like finding cliff drops/cornices, hitting natural features etc).

I am set on the Proto to be my main "All-Mountain" board, and my logic was that I wanted a board that was slightly larger than my park/Evo board.

Anyway I purchased the 160 - the other option was a 157 (I used to ride 159-161 camber boards over the last decade and was stoked on the size), but having 2 days on the new board I feel like it's may be too big.

I have size 10 boots so the Proto wide wasn't an option, and I didn't want to downsize to a 157, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should have.

THe only caveat is that I've only ridden the new Proto on main runs/through the park on kickers, I haven't had the opportunity to take it off piste or through powder.

So bottom line for those of you who own NS Proto (or similar boards from NS or other weight height cam/rock setup) do you think I should downsize to a 157?

Does the board need more breaking in to really feel comfortable on the board?

Does it make sense to have an all-mountain board that is shorter (even by 1cm) than my park board?

I really want to LOVE this board (as I do my 158 Evo) but I'm worried about lack of maneuverability.

Thanks a bunch!
