Rome Mod rocker - need some help

Hi,
Ive been riding Burton Custom 154 for the last 3-4 years.
time to get a new board.
i am 5'11, 170 pounds.
riding all mountain, love parks.
I think of buying the rome mod rocker.
few questions -
1. i tend to like shorter boards but i think 153 maybe too short. if i go to the 156 - what will be the difference from the 153? it's going to be significantly harder to jump with the 156?
2. Bindings - i think about the union contact pro, i dont like heavy bindings and i saw that none of the rome bindings are light so i am considering the contact pro. is it going to fit the board? cause i read that there could be a problem for some of the boards with that binding (4x4 or 2x4 insert patterns)...
any other recommendations for light and good binding?
Thanks!
Gilad
