GNU Riders Choice - need your advice

d
all, hope someone will be able to provide some food for thoughts based on your experience with GNU Riders Choice.

Currently I ride Ride Highlife UL which is very aggressive powder board. Recently I started doing some switching which is of course very wrong on purely directional board. Eventually after little 180 on the piste I caught an edge and hit my head hard which made me start thinking about getting something better for that kind of riding.

I do not have much choice for picking up something new as I am a big footer (size 13) and like to carve (I cannot say I am very good at carving, but want to progress) therefore need a bigger waist board. Eventually I came up with the choice for GNU Riders Choice 162W. I've been googling a lot about it and found several people complaining that carving is not that good on this board. I want you to share your experiences about this board especially in carving. I am not talking about bad ass carving but more like all mountain riding/carving with some switches and tricks in between.

Also, how this board would compare to T Rice Pro boards? It is the same C2BTX which makes me think the boards should be around the same feel. My friend said he does like carving on T Rice, so was wandering if Riders Choice is something similar (162W RC is around 6.5 stiffness which is very close to T Rice)

Any feedbacks and thoughts are appreciated!
