Spinning on 'domes'

I keep seeing these in videos, domes like 50cm or so diameter where you can ride onto them and spin around, or just bonk them as you fly over it. Havent seen one yet on the hill but i know i will want to try the spinning when i see one.



But i also have this fear i will just slip straight off and land hip-first on that dome.



Is there any specific trick to these? Are they harder/easier than they look?
