Burton Ruler vs Ride Anthem Suggestions

d
I'm in the market for new boots. I currently wear a Burton Moto I got 3 years ago. It's a size 9.5 but ever since I started learning toe-side turns this season, I learned that my boots are too loose and I get a lot of heel lift.

So I am looking into getting a size smaller. I've been reading reviews for a couple hours now and came down to getting either a Burton Ruler (Speed Lace) or a Ride Anthem (Boa). They're both around $160ish with the sales right now.

I unfortunately haven't had the chance to try either one since the store near me does not have my size anymore. I did try a Boa K2 last night and a laced Burton in size 9. They are snug with my toes right up the front wall but no toe curling. So I'm thinking that I'm definitely a size 9.

Any suggestions on which of the 2 is better? From what I've read, they're about the same flex wise and technology wise. Major difference is the Boa vs Speed Lace. I like my Moto Speed Laces. I don't have any experience with Boas, but the one I tried last night does seem nifty. I'm not sure if I missed something though.

Or any other suggestions in the $160ish range? I'm a beginner and only do mountains, no parks if that helps. I also do not like the traditional laces.

Thanks
