Snowbird, east coast snowboarder

So I'm going on a trip to Salt Lake city. I heard that Snowbird is a difficult mountain compared to the east. I'm comfortable with blue runs at Bromont, Jay Peak & Tremblant, but would rarely go on blacks. Should I go to other mountains near Park City instead?
