Cataloochee Review

I had heard some bad things about Cat. But I liked it as much as the slopes in Banner Elk. We got there New Years Day and it was packed. Decided to wait and do the night riding. That was a great idea. The conditions were better and no waiting in the lift lines. Went back the next morning and did the half day. Got some good runs in until it got crowded again around 10:00. Skipped the afternoon and went back that night and it was less crowded than before. Then the rain came and never stopped. But all in all a good trip. I would go back.
