Dirtbaggin' Durango

Tryin' to make it to Durango to ride. Used to stay at Candace's hostel......but it's now closed. Any locals wanna share, in a PM, where someone could bivy in a vehicle? Maybe a lot? First lot to the south? Side road higher up the pass? Any local knowledge would be much appreciated.
