Need advice from you guys *video inside*

d
I only have been on the snow 12 days in my life. Ive taken a lesson, but on my 1st and 2nd day. I get about 3 days every 2 years and am OLD(40).

Im having most trouble on a steep blue(the wide ones). Narrow blues seem to be less steep. I ride goofy and have trouble with the transition from toe edge to heel. I think part of my issue is that I have to bleed off so much speed because Im not confident that the board cant turn quick enough to get me on my heel edge. I understand thats a confidence issue, but it just seems so brutal to ride faster...perhaps my knees need to be bent more, but its usually at the base of the mountain that the wide blue is, gets the most traffic and the most cut up.

I have a trip coming up in a month and just want to get some tips(Ive read a ton from other threads as well, this forum is amazing), I dont think Ill have the cash for a lesson this time, but, I know it will be worth every penny if I do this time or the next.

Here is my video, I know its not wide enough to see everything, but I can tell my back arm looks stupid. The first 2:33 is that section of wide blue that gave me so much trouble. The video after 2:33 is just some other random blue/green within keystone that has a slightly wider angle.
