stevens pass help

Looking for someone who works at Stevens pass, wa or may know the answer to my question. They have a play and stay deal for pass holders of any other resort. I got a pass for this year but my buddy does not. They need to see that you have a current season pass for this year in order to get the deal. my season pass do not have what year it is on it. Would they call to check or will just seeing it be good enough?
