Board size for my 10 year old...145?

My 10 year old is 5' 100 lbs and will need a board next year. Looking around 145 as his 128 seems small. Should I go bigger and should i look mens or boys...would rather go mens and keep it for a few yrs. looking Burton Ripcord...any suggestios?
