goliath or ET to learn on?

my mates coming boarding in france for 2 weeks this year n is buying all new gear hes only boarded for 2 weeks total before
hes learning fast (wake board moto x background) n wants one of these two boards goliath or ET (and yes its has to be one of these u cant talk to him about any other board hes set on these for some reason and there both 25% off atm )
(i just got the ET myself today ) he wants to know if one will be easier to learn on? (i have no idea ive never had bataleon before )
he doesnt know what he will be doing mostly yet, but last year he was groomers buttering jumps n just starting in the park he thinks more of the same this year
