Board Opinions

Hey all. First off I want to say that I'm not going to make this a "which board is better" thread because god and his dog know how annoying that is. What I'm looking for are opinions on a few boards I'm interested in. The problem is where I'm located in Eastern Canada there are few board shops that carry anything other than Burton, Soloman and some other brands that I'm not really interested in. I don't like buying online but I'm willing to give it a go for the sake of trying something new.
Wondering if anyone can let me know of their experiences with the following boards and what they liked/didn't like I'd appreciate it:
Rome Mod Rocker
Capita Defenders of Awesome
Burton Custom
Looking to buy soon and those interest me based on what I've read. Can't believe everything you read in articles though. I'm 5'11", 175lbs, been boarding for 5 years, currently ride all mountain (see: crappy east coast groomer hills) and like to have fun on my way down. Riding a stiff Rome crail right now.
Was looking into some lib boards but it seems they've downgraded their bases unless you really want to pay for them.
