Looking to take a 5 day trip SLC or Big Sky?

I am totally new to this forum but thought I would ask for some advice from the snowboarders. In our group there is three intermediate skiers and two intermediate snowboarders in which we want to fly out to spend 5 days at a resort area. We originally picked Big Sky because of the discount we can get but then we also heard about Bridger in Montana and then a few in SLC. We are from Michigan where the mountains are a total huge elevation of 500 feet vertical. So realize that when you are use to that anything bigger is better. A little powder would be good but I would say mostly intermediate terrain.
