Not sure if worth fixing

I snowboarded back when I was a kid and skateboarded a lot. So, I heard my local shop was selling used snowboards that were their rentals. I decided to head over there. The guy offered me used salomon faction boots and 5th element bindings and a board for $130 (with tax). The board itself is a silence board, and that company was sold out/went out of business a few years ago apparently. Anyways, the board was pretty beaten up, but for $130 I figured it isn't a bad deal to hit up the slopes a hour from my house a few times. I'm going to Colorado next season and I'll get a new board then. I figured the bindings and boots can all stay the same even on a nicer board.
Anyways, I am considering trying to return the board because it is pretty bad on one part of the base. The guy told me it was all cosmetic and I believed him. I did my research afterwards and I believe it is bad. Let me know what you guys think. Is it worth getting some epoxy glue and some p-tex and fixing this board up? Or should I just leave it and take it to the slopes as-is till the end of the season?
Also, for $130 for everything, was it a good deal?
